Saturday went to IT fair with Ah yi and Da Yi Ma... Saw my ex-pri school classmate and sec sch mate Darren and his friends working at the Creative booth... Were there at 10plus aready... Then stood around and waited til 11.50am... Then the security guards let us in and the bustling crowd just rushed forward... Haha... Quite a scene.. Went to sign up Singnet plan... Then went to buy a computer.. Coz now that the 4 of us are all quite needy in computer work, mum thought it's better to get a second computer so that we no need to quarrel over the use of computer.. N then bought a laptop too coz it's a real bargain.. N at the polys, there's no such good offers... Ah yi bought a computer and a laptop too... N with our buys, we are entitled to buy printers, digicam, palmtops at special discounted prices... In the end, we spent almost $10000!!!! N as every $50 spent entitled us to a lucky draw coupon, we got over 100 coupons.. Ah yi and I filled in our particulars til our hands were shaking... N in the end, we had to jostle with the crowd to leave as there was simply too many people at the fair!!! Phew.. By the time we reached home, it was aready 4plus... Then only did we had our lunch... At nite, Dad brought us to Chinatown's for dinner... Coz it's Chern Yue's birthday... Had a sumptious dinner... Sunday, we had plans to go hiking at Bukit Timah but Dad overslept... Justin, our cousin had a sleepover so as to join us.. So at 11plus, we went to East coast to cycle... We cycled from the rental shop to the pond to feed the fish and tortoises then went on to the food court... There, Justin said he felt faint and had turned very pale.. Mum hurriedly applied some medicated oil to his temple and made him eat some noodles... Then, his face colour returned slightly.. I ahd finally seen a green face... N it's not nice... After a rest, we cycled back to the shop and went to fetch Popo and Da Yi Ma from teh temple then sent them home and followed by sending Justin home... Then, Dad drove us to Li Hwan Drive.. Our old home... We had stayed there since Dad and Mum married til I was about 4plus den we shifted to Joo Chiat... But as I was stil young when we moved out, I ahd little recollection of the house... N so did my siblings as they were all younger then me... Meanwhile, this house in Li Hwan was rented out... Now, the tenants have ended the lease and we are renovating it to rent again... It was a nice house... The house overall was quite nice and the kitchen was exceptionally big... Then we went on to the bedrooms... We talked about expanding the bedrooms out into the balcony and it would be even more spacious... We became more and more excited and talked about moving back from Jalan Berseh to stay here in Li Hwan!!!!!! Hahaha.... Ok... That's my brother Chern Yue and I... Dad din sayanything while we made our great exciting plans... Haha... But hopefully, his silence means consent... Actually, it was said by grandma that the house was to be Jeffrey and Chern Yue's marital home!!! HAha.... But on discussing the expansions, we became more impatient to move in... Coz presently in our 4-room flat in Jalan Berseh above our shop, it's quite a cramp as we have more and more books and belongings and two person sharing a small room is not very desirable... So we hoped to move...Secretly lah... Dad prefers Jalan Berseh... Coz he can sleep in til 8plus then get up to get ready for work... If we are staying elsewhere, he would have to get up at 7plus... N having to entertain and coming home late, it's better that we stay in our present abode... He also said that the house in Li Hwan Drive is very warm... No wind... not exactly very nice to stay in... Haha...But we dunno lah... Coz we want bigger rooms!!! Well... Maybe 2 years later lah... When Chern Yue is in secondary school.... N the discussion ended...While our minds twirled in hopes of larger rooms and a small garden and pets and stuff... HAhah... Today, went to HCA alone... Last nite SMS Jasmine and she said they couldn't make it coz they had lots of work and lessons.. Was quite spent out today... The toll of calling so many people and repeating the same thing over and over and getting rejections over and over is tolling... Was tired and drained... NOw, back to working in the office..... Slightly better... But, I think now I'd prefer school... Hmmmm... Can't wait for JAE results to come up and school to hurry start... I hope all goes well in a new school with new beginnings... =)
