Hoping 2 Set Up A Stall & Busy Volunteering

Tuesday after the JAE results, (I'm officially in NYP Business Informatics Course - excited yet apprehensive) Alicia and I made arrangements to go out.. First, we went to Tanjong Pagar or her interview and then we went back to Bugis to window shop.. Initially we wanted to watch movies.. But then like no good movies to watch at the moment so we went to SEoul Garden for Lunch... It was around 2plus... Had a great feast... And was super full... Den went window shopping.. Went to the Edge where we talked about wanting to take studio photos... But it was like quite expensive for Alicia.... It was like just a dream for me lah... Den we continued to shop... Then, around 5plus, we went to my home... Coz the last time we went out, Alicia was interested in my making jewellery and seting up business... Introduced her to some stuff then she left for home around 7pm..Wednesday, we met up again around 4pm at Popo's home... I brought all my materials to Hougang like to facilitate us to make them daily??? Hopefully la, can set up the stall before Alicia starts school (NYP Nursing - late April or early May I think), so quite a rush for time actually... But as she's a newbie and a total green horn to this, so spent some time showing her the basics... She made a pair of earrings and a wire bracelet while I made 2 wire bracelets in the midst of teaching her the ropes... She had dinner here and after that, went home around 7plus...Thursday, went to Fo Guang Yuan temple with Popo to volunteer... Master Xing Yun would be coming to Singapore soon and there's lots of activities organised while he's here from Taiwan... There's a ground-breaking ceremony for the future premise of Fo Guang Yuan in Punggol and Miao Yang Shi Fu asked me to compile the invitation VIP list in Microsoft Access (to type the particulars of the VIPs to invite and then convert them into labels)... It was a totally terrible job as Access was a total disaster... N having to type in English and Chinese made it worse... Not that I was not proficient... But the system was such that whenever ou typed the Shift key, the computer automatically change from English to Chinese format and I ahd to undo it again and again in the midst of my tping... Access was totally UN-USER-FRIENDLY!!!! You have to copy your typings one by one... There's no selecting all in the page and it was such a tedious process... Worked from morning 10am to around 5pm before finishing 1/10 of the work... Ok... I started on the computer only after lunch... Which was around 12pm... Earlier was helping out with the odd chores in the kitchen as Miao Yang Shi Fu was busy.... Friday, went down to Fo Guang Yuan too as there was still lots of ufinished work to do... And having to work on the UN-USER-FRIENDLY Access made it super tedious... Worked from 12plus to 6plus... N finished 8/10 of the work as I had a helper... Huipeng... Met her at Fo Guang Yuan as Miao Yang Shi Fu assigned her to help me out... She was also waiting to enter poly...We became friends easily through the tedious work... And also got to know a few "Shi Jies"..... That's the term of address at Fo Guang Yuan... N then had to come on Saturday to complete the last of the work... Hopefully.... At night, worked on the jewellery... Da Yi Ma helped me made several pairs of earrings too... Worked past midnight as we started on around 8plus... I only managed to make a necklace as it required quite alot of work...Saturday morning, woke up at 8plus... Super tired... This morning going to wash the house at Li Hwan as Dad's going to re-rent it out again after the re-painting... Reached there at 10plus... There was Mum, Popo, Da Yi Ma, her maid, our maid, and our shop's worker, Ah Cheong uncle... I started on the storeroom... First sweeping, then washing with soapwater and then the kitchen.... N the kitchen was made exceptionally big due to Yeye's orders in the past when the house was built... It was tough work.... Ok... I've never done much housework usually... That's why I wanted to come to make a way to excercise... N I think I did work up quite a big sweat... Ok... Water splashed on me too... But was really dead beat... N still had to go to Fo Guang Yuan... We went back to Hougang around 12.20pm to bathe while Mum and our maid stayed on to wait for Dad... Bathed and had lunch and then Popo and I made our way to FGY... By then it was aready 1.30pm... Upon reaching, hurriedly continued with the leftover work from yesterday, hoping to finish up soon... But there were checks to be done and by the time we finished, it was 5pm... Waited for Miao Yang Shi Fu to give the orders to print and then we finished up... Still had to wait for the Zhu Chi Shi Fu to check through the invitation lists before we can print the address labels on Tuesday lor... So haiz... Hope there are no hitches to our finish on Tuesday... May all merits be dedicated to my family, friends, and I, wishing everyone happiness, good health, goodness in one's self and good personalities..... ;>
