People.... What are you doing to the world??
Looking at the daily reports of the ever increasing death toll and the raging scenes of the water rushing feverishly into the shores, homes and villages dragging away vulnerable lives makes you wonder when will the nature eventually take away the world population when It has gotten really really furious at us.... We thought it was all a mere simple wave.... When it decided to show its might and get back at our ignorance....
We have all been constantly fighting for our own benefits, making use of the Earth like there's no tommorow... Our activities that make us improve the economies by leap and bounds, or the activities that bring us pleasure, are harming the Earth terribly.... For example, the cars that bring so much convenience to us or the waste gas or materials from factories that go into the air or rivers, polluting them... Our deforestation acts or the killings of animals just to feast on their exotic flesh, and making ornaments or fur coats out of them... Our bombings and killings of people because I don't like you or you offended me... N these fights continue even in the event of a world tradegy unfolding....
Maybe, Mother Earth is finally showing it's rage.... Which country has been completely spared from this natural disaster's massacre?? Which country have not lost at least one of it's citizens in the great tsunami disaster?? Maybe this is the wake up call everybody is needing... We should have more education on the wonder of nature... The power it can unleash....
We should reflect on our actions... Should extend whatever help we can to those in need... We should conserve the world's resources and think of ways to use them without harming their existence... We should stop all the illogical killings of animals... And senseless fightings because of different ideologies and narrow-mindedness... Developed countries should help the less developed countries.... N allow everyone to prosper together....
After this disaster, even more aid is needed... As the people might suffer from despair and depression from the loss of their homes and seeing their families being swept away right in front of their eyes yet they are totally helpless... In developed countries, we are all worried about depression sufferers and treatment is given to them.... However, if we sit down and think, would anyone really be willing to go into these devastated coutries to look after those depression patients?? OR do we leave them to their own??
If we still want to live the way we are living and wish our descendants have similar beautiful lives as well... And make this world a more beautiful world to live in...
I'm just writing what came to me.... But somehow some parts are quite illogical... I do like the convenience of cars and the new mechanisms invented which also meanwhile harm the environment..... I do quarrel and disagree with people sometimes bercause of different wavelengths.... But... Somehow... Most of what I've reflected above is true.... So maybe this is my reflection for the year.... Mum says every year there's bound to be some disaster that take away quite a number of lives... But these year's... is too big a disaster... I hope there'll never be one again... It'll takes years to clean out the mess and devastated ruins in the countries affected... and some emotional scars can never be healed... Goodness knows what'll happen...
I hope in the new year, everything will be more smooth sailing and successful (those that are righteously right) and be able to restore the order in all the countries affected by the tsunami...
I hope everyone will be more healthy and happy, contented and not so stressed out... That families will be more bonded and close together... N less accidents... N natural disasters... N I'm successful in sccomplishing my wishes and be a succesesful person... N be kind and helpful...
