DRENCHED!!!
Yesterday went to HCA to do the last of the RSVPs.. Actually did "tou gong jian liao"... Coz Michael had called up a few Malay families and they weren't coming due to the HAri Raya Celebrations this month.. So we all din call up any Malay families lah.. Hopw it's true lah.. If not we'll be leaving them out of a chance to gather to deal with their grieve...
Went home around 12... Den loithered around United Square & Novena Square before Mum called and asked me to buy some present wrappers for the customer's gift-wrapping... Den took MRT back home.. As I emerged from the station at Bugis, there suddenly erupted a downpour from the skies..
Initially it was just a drizzle... But funnily, it grew bigger with every step I took.. BY the time I reached the traffic junction, it was pouring heavily.. I shaded a lady who was half- drenched while we were waiting for the green man to show up.. However, the wind began howling terribly fierce nad soon my entire skirt was wet....
Den hurried across the street while the lady decided to just make a dash for it.... Grew even wetter and the Today paper I had just took from the station turned into a soaking mess!!! N it was only across a small traffic light!!! Imagine the rain!!
Den half-drenched, went into the wholesale centre to buy the wrappers and got plastic bags for the wrappers and one for my drenched bag.. URgh.... Decided to just continue walking despite the big rain and strong wind as I was aready wet...
However, it was real cold as the wind and rain continued their unrelentless beating against me while I walked back home... Was shivering and muttering and whining all the way home and finally experienced a small flood.. Brrrrr......
Coz I'd once said I've never experienced a flood earlier in the year n now, the skies are determined that I should have a taste of what I tink is so exciting and what so many people fear of.. Though it wasn't really any flood lah...
Took a quick bath upon reaching home and felt really cold........ Brrr.... Den realxed til evening where I went for lessons again.. Been dreaming about him alot lately... Haiz... It's no that easy to get it over and done with...
N there's something wrong with my taggie... Keep seeing nothing on it... N my computer's slowing down despite being upgraded its' memory recently... Hmmm...
