Volunteering Meeting
Morning woke up at about 8.25am... Today got meeting with Hospice Care Association In-charge at 11am.. Bathed n had breakfast den took bus den MRT den bus back home.. Needed to put my things first.. Den went on-line until 10.45 before leaving with Mum to Hospice.. They are worried about me going alone so mum decided to come with me.. We took taxi there.. It's near National Skin Centre, near Tan Tock Seng Hospital.. Went in n waited for a while before the receptionist showed us up to the office to find Mr Ngiam..
He talked to us about what's volunteering at Hospice like.. Coz they are providing day care and home care services, home care's for those patients in their advanced stage of terminal disease and might just pass away anytime.. Day care's for the elderly patients whose family need a break from taking care of them day and night. He managed to talk Mum into volunteering as well and even asking us to involve the company and family.. He brought us around the centre.. Not really big space lah actually.. Den we went home..
I'll be mailing AWWA Home's application too.. But need to know about Mum's volunteering time coz we are going together den I put up my available timeslot in AWWA's form..
