Wow! Yesterday, my home area was flooded!!!! So amazing!! But i din noe whent happened n hadn't been able to catch the excitement.. Haiz.. The rain had been non-stop since the morning.. So i to stay at home.. Den in the noon, there was quite a great fllod here over at the Rocher Cannel.. The water level was up to half of a calf of a Primary 1 kid!!! So my brother, P4, studyiing in Stamford Primary, opposite the canel din get to be released early.. My dad waded across the waters to go to schoolo to fetch him but the school decided to re-hold the remedial they had cancelled coz it was dagerous to let the students cross the waters... I only found out wen my brother returned home at about 3plus.. Den the news at nite showed the footages taken near my home... The water level was as high as those we often see about other countries' flood leves!! N it was quite frightening that such a thing should happen in Singapore..

Today morning was still a little drizzle.. Den on n off throughout the morning lah,... A drizzle again when i decided to go out.. But thankfully, it stopped.. Read a book in the morning.. Den went out to Bras Bersah Popular at ard 2... When i reached there i found to much displeasure that the Popular was closed for stock taking... N it began frizzling agin..Den dunno wanna go which other Popular... Coz me unfamiliar with Orchard terrain...
So mum asked me to go Bugis lor.. There i went to order a name chain made from wire from a push-cart stall.. It'd ben featured on the weekend news on Ch8 before.. N really very intd in getting one for some time.. Den went to Watsons' to buy some stuff den went around shoppin... Den went to V8 to buy my Discman.. My aunt said mine previous one was beyond repair liao so buy new one lor...
The salesman offered me a more value-added model on display den the one i had my eyes on on Sunday when going out with Adeline they all.. It was only $165!! N still got Burner software.. Den i oso got some free gifts... Very pleased with such a good buy... Den went to Kinukoniya to look at the books.. They were mostly magazines or storybooks or self-help books.. Dun have assessments n textbooks so not much use... Anyway, saw some minature help books... N bought one on Exam skills n tips!! Nice!!
Den almost forget to go back to collect my name chain.. By then it was aready 4.30.. So after collecting the chain, bought some bread for my brothers' breakfast den went home... AT nite watched Tv n did some maths.. Still dun understand SUBSETS & PROPER SUBSETS!!!
